I tried a different recipe for a strawberry-rhubarb pie.
And this one called for a latticed topped crust and so I made it, my first time doing this.
And I made all the crust myself, I've done that before and although it's pretty easy to do, I just don't usually do it too often. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty nice.
And it was very yummy! Dave said he liked this one better, but I can't decided. This one has a little cornstarch in it and I think I tasted it and didn't like that. We invited Dave's parents over to eat it with us and sent some home with them, because we were leaving for Knoebels the following day and only Dave and I eat it. I didn't want to get stuck eating more than half of it myself again. My clothes are finally starting to get pretty loose and I'm fitting into things I haven't worn since before I was pregnant with Jayden (5 years ago), so I didn't want to reverse that. Anyway, they really liked this one, but they never got to try to the other one I made.
